Hemant is an Architectural Designer currently working at Spaceagency. He holds a Master’s Degree from the Architectural Association (DRL), with professional experiences in London, China, and India.
Before joining the Space Agency, Hemant was involved in designing a major international airport project in China, where he focused on developing central skylight, roof, and ceiling panelization. Collaborating with the China Aviation Academy, he ensured compliance with aviation norms. Hemant was also a team member responsible for developing parametric methodologies for the roofs and corresponding structures of the National History Museum and Nanhai Art Centre, emphasizing sustainability and the use of local materials.
For the thesis project at AA, Hemant and his colleagues explored Bio-Materials within the field of material science. They successfully transformed kombucha-made bacterial cellulose biofilms into innovative building facades, demonstrating a commitment to sustainable solutions in material science.
In addition to his architectural experience, Hemant is a 3D artist, contributing to digital architectural illusions, concept art covers, and 3D animations.
