WW+P and Spaceagency have been appointed by Network Rail Buildings and Architecture to revise and update the Wayfinding Design Guidance, providing a complete overview of the Network Rail signage and wayfinding strategies for all their managed stations.
WW+P has worked successfully with Spaceagency on a wide range of collaborative projects, including TfGM Connected Wayfinding in Manchester. The partnership combines WW+P’s world-class experience in the transport architecture sector and Spaceagency’s outstanding international wayfinding and graphic communication knowledge and expertise.
The team has been asked to consider all aspects of Network Rail’s current wayfinding provision such as sign legibility, typography, hierarchy and layout, colour palette and strategy, pictograms and arrows, following legislation in the Equality Act (2010).
In mid-November Network Rail Buildings and Architecture, WW+P and Spaceagency will be hosting a work-in-progress viewing session at New London Architecture, 26 Store Street, London WC1. We will be presenting various wayfinding options developed to date for discussion and feedback.
