The Synergy Campus Lingen, Northern Germany, represents an new, integrated type of business park that integrates urban functions such as living, restaurants, childcare, sport as well as blue and white collar workplaces.
The masterplan is characterized by a series of dynamic ‘ribbons’ that define street, squares and link into the network for walk and hiking paths in the environment. This geometry is picked-up by the 4 central volumes: the largest being the construction yard and the smallest the childcare building. The 2 mid-sized building will be used for administration and general office functions. The client, ‘Luehnbau’ will be occupying the construction yard as well as the administration building, while the other building will be offered to the market.
